What we collect when you use Kailami, what happens to it, and your rights. We use no analytics, no tracking and no advertising cookies.
Kailami is a free resource library for virtual assistants. This page explains, in plain language, what information is involved when you use it, what happens to that information, and what your rights are.
The short version: to use Kailami you make a free account. We keep what you give us during sign-up and your saved progress, so you can log in from any device. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel and no advertising network.
When you get access, we ask for your email address, full name, location, where you found Kailami, a link to the Facebook post you shared, your Facebook profile link, and a screenshot showing you follow Kailami. You also pick a password.
We use the email to send your login codes and to identify your account. The links and screenshot are only used to check that the access steps were done. Kailami can see them and nobody else can. The screenshot is deleted automatically 24 hours after you sign up. Your password is stored scrambled (hashed), so nobody can read it, including us. If you tick "Remember this device", that browser skips the login code for 30 days.
Your progress (for example The Path, checklists, quiz results and saved tools) is saved to your account, so it follows you to any device you log in on. A working copy is also kept in your browser while you use the site. The account data is stored with Supabase, login codes are sent through Resend, and the sign-up system runs on Vercel. These services process the data on our behalf and nothing else.
We set no advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser keeps a login token so you stay logged in; logging out removes it.
If you apply to join the VAST Professionals network, that application is handled on vastprofessionals.com, which is a separate site with its own privacy practices. Information you submit there is used to assess your application and match you with client work.
Google Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google's font service, which means your IP address is visible to Google when the page loads. This is standard practice on the web, but it is a third-party request and you deserve to know it happens.
Outbound links. Templates open in Canva, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and ChatGPT. Once you follow one of those links you are on their service, under their privacy policy, not ours. The same goes for our Facebook page and group, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
We are based in the Philippines and take the Data Privacy Act of 2012 seriously. If you have given us your information, you have the right to know what we hold, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to withdraw your consent, and to have it deleted.

These resources are intended for people of working age. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted their details, email us and we will remove them.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we do with your information, the date at the top of this page will change with it.
